Kaycee's Bloat Story

Kaycee's owner had heard of Bloat, but not until he encountered it with his Irish Setter, Kaycee, did he learn that Bloat is a matter of life and death.

He was fortunate to be with Kaycee when she developed the symptoms of Bloat; a swollen abdomen, pacing, repeatedly laying down and getting back up, panting, and unsuccessful attempts to vomit. Recognizing that Kaycee was in immense pain and that there was a serious problem, he rushed her to the veterinary hospital. At the veterinary hospital Kaycee received emergency surgical attention.

Unlike many dogs suffering from Bloat, Kaycee received life-saving medical attention in a timely manner and was fortunate enough to survive. The experience of almost losing Kaycee because of Bloat was the inspiration for developing Kaycee's LifeBowl.
